every 6 months we have to have a review of dd's respite. Once a year a inspector comes. thay want dd to be there. I don't. apart from having to interupt her day and take her out of a lesson. (she has sn so takes ages to restart and interupts her class)
I can't see th epoint dd just mucks about and I can't talk openly about her.

I guess that part of the problem is that social services want to involve her in decisions about care, but don't appreciate that she is just too young.

Have you told social services that you do not want her at the review. Prehaps you could enlist the help of your headteacher to put your view point across.

Could she just come to the end of the meeting and try and time it for end of school day if poss

I can see that they would want to see her in the flesh, but equally it would be more sensible for her to just be at the end of the meeting rather than the whole meeting, so that you can speak freely.

even to bring her in at the end meens distuurbing her lesson. i normally tell them they can go and see her in class. but this year her teacher will most likely not like that.
DD is 12 and can't talk so what is she suppose to do?
