Egg chair?

Thinking of buying an egg chair for the garden with some birthday money. Will it be a beautiful addition to my garden which I shall love and cherish (YANBU) or something that sits in a cover for 90% of the time and just gets crapped on by the pigeons? (YABU to waste your money on this folly)

Can you sit them directly on the lawn or do you need a patio? I have long fancied one but not sure we have the space 🤔

My friend has hers on the lawn

I love mine but it also gives me motion sickness so I can't actually sit in it 😅😂

I didn’t like the single one I had.

I love the double one I got a few years ago. It sits on the decking. Last summer got a small paddling pool to sit in front of it. Swinging back and forth with feet swooshing in and out of tiny pool was heaven in the heatwave!

I was in the same boat and ended up going for an egg chair because I liked being able to pick the cushion and frame colours without it turning into a whole project. The water‑resistant cushions have survived a few sudden showers too, which was a nice surprise. If you're still deciding, checking out an egg chair might give you a clearer idea of what fits your space.
