Noisy holiday neighbours

I'm currently staying in a lovely, family-focussed holiday village. It is peaceful through the day and a real haven, but come 7.00pm, the Spanish family next door arrive home and they cause havoc!

They seem to have around seven kids to maybe four adults and from when they arrive home to midnight, they're constantly scraping chairs along the tiled floor, which sounds horrendous. They have their front door open too, even though they have a huge back garden and the kids are running and screaming in the communal entrance area and up and down the stairway to the apartments. I gave up on watching TV last night and went to bed early.

I know that the Spanish are known for their passionately loud conversations and being child-friendly, so is this just a case of live and let live and hope they depart any day now?

Go and knock on their door with Google Translate ready to play what you've written in to it?

I was quite ready to do so last night, but feared I was outnumbered and they seem rowdy!

Is there management/reception there. Speak to them x

Don't knock on the door especially when there is a language barrier, you're just going to cause yourself more stress.

Speak to whoever manages the place such as reception, guest services, resort rep, etc. They're paid to ensure everyone is happy and you're not happy so utilise them.
