Paying out after minor car accident

I accidentally went into the back of someone in slow traffic the other day on my way to work Nobody was hurt and there were just a few scratches on her car. She later contacted me and said she'd sort advice and could get the damage sorted for £100 to avoid it going through the insurance. I'm happy for it not to go through the insurance and make a payment outside of that. But she's asked for me to pay her through PayPal. I don't use PayPal anymore. Surely a bank transfer is OK?
She knows all my details. Even where I work as I work wearing my school teacher ID badge. Despite that, does she think I'm not legit, hence PayPal? She seemed absolutely fine herself, nice lady and worked for the NHS. I know the accident was my error but I also want to address this properly. I've not done this before.

There is always a risk going privately of course but bank transfer is no more secure than PayPal.
If you dont have PayPal surely you can tell her you need to pay a different way.
when I cracked a lens on a car I paid the garage direct.

I'd pay the repairer direct. And make sure there was some kind of written agreement, even via email, that she won't pursue you later on if more damage is found. This depends on who she sought advice from - an auto repairer, paint repairer or uncle bob.

Someone lightly bumped into my brand new car in traffic. Driver tried to tell me no damage, all good!! DH (was driving) worked for an insurance claims dept at the time and knew it's not always as it seems. There was damage underneath you couldn't see - broken attachments for the bumper and a rear panel and the boot lock was bent.

Whatever you do, have it properly in writing, not just an unrecorded transaction and verbal agreement.
