I noticed a £20 charge on my Apple Pay this morning called ‘Park Dragon’, at 10am. A ‘transport service’ according to my banking app.

Got onto online chat saying I’ve had fraud on my account, I was driving at this time, can they cancel card and refund my transaction, that I haven’t spend £20 on parking or transport anywhere!

They were very nice, they cancelled my card, raised a fraud query etc and will look into refunding it.

It’s just dawned on me now that the charge was for petrol. Totally forgot I stopped for fuel and was impressed that I managed to get to £20 on the nose. I feel like a right tit.

As I drifted off to sleep last night i realised that the fraudulent use on my credit card I had reported was actually me booking some tickets. But the description on the statement wasn’t anything to do with the company or the tickets, hence me not recognising the transaction.

Feel like such a dick now.

Told the workers at the Jorvik centre that it was a real shame they had turned down the smell and saying it was better in the early days….
tested positive for COVID the next day!!

Once at uni whilst slightly tipsy at a pub quiz, I looked on my online banking app and noticed I'd spent around £100 at Tesco. We didn't have a Tesco supermarket nearby, I never shopped there, so I immediately went to the loos to call the bank as I was quite stressed by it!

So I'm going through all the security stuff, I get put on hold and after a while it dawned on me that whilst I never shopped at a Tesco supermarket, my phone contract was with Tesco mobile and I'd upgraded my phone contract to get a new phone earlier that day, and the money was the fee I had to pay to finish the contract for my old phone early 🤣 I was very embarrassed when they came back on the like and I had to sheepishly tell them I'd realised it was me after all!
