To think people should mind their own business regarding my childcare

My ds of 16 mths attends nursery in the mornings while I go to work.

I went to my local garage to get some bits and the shop assistant who recognises me because I go in quite a bit, asked me where my ds was. I replied he is in nursery. The cheeky * then sucked in her cheeks and said I wouldn't do that! I replied well I would She then I asked how old he was. I answered and she said it was too young I told her to mind her own business and marched out.

I already felt horible as ds cried when I left him there.

Seriously rude imo.

Why is it that complete strangers think they have the right to comment on our parenting choices? This really anoys me beyond belief! Well done for sticking up for yourself.
