Anyone waiting to hear for Primary school applications today?

Just thought I’d start a thread for anyone nervously waiting to hear because I can’t see one. I’m sure we will be ok, but I’m so nervous! Anyone know what time they get in touch? I’m guessing it’s an email? Anyone heard yet?

I'm based in London so it says it will be released in the evening. It's so annoying we have to wait. dc goes to a preschool attached to a private prep and we have to let the prep school know too today whether we will continue with reception as it will all depend whether we get our first choice or not to be able to get our deposit back. So I've already prepared a notice email just in case we get our first choice and hit send the moment it's released.

I got an email just before 7, and got our first choice

where we live, you don't have to accept the place. They presume you're accepting it unless you get in touch to tell them otherwise. If you can't see an "accept" option, that's fine too. @Coffeeandbourbons you may have similar where you are.

Oh my God, its a good thing I've seen this thread, I forgot it was today!!!! Just checked my emails and it said it was sent at 12:06 this morning...She got in to pur first choice!!! Aaaahhhh, I'm so excited!!!! Good luck to everyone else on here still waiting Xx

That probably means acceptance is presumed. It should say in your email. We are waiting on an infant and junior place at 5pm but both fairly certain, so not too worried!

So strange they it’s all random times. I’d be a nervous wreck waiting till like 5pm. In fact I woke up at 00:40 and grabbed my phone straight away.

Log on after 5. Email may take a few more hours to come through (from experience).

London here and got our first Choice

Hopefully everyone has heard by now? You’d think they’d have it ready to go out, but it’s a clever idea to do it last minute and then finish for the day. I’m sure that’s what happened when I applied for my eldest, and it was over the weekend!

Had an email around 2am! Email doesn't say anything about accepting but I think it varies by area, I have a feeling its assumed we accept unless we tell them otherwise. Will wait and see what the letter says!
