To sell clothes on Vinted or eBay?

Having a massive clear out of wardrobes and I am new to the eBay and Vinted, which is better for selling clothes? By better I guess I mean quicker, easier, cheaper to sell on, less hassle....that sort of thing.

And any tips you can give me?

So which should I use:

YABU - eBay every time
YANBU - Vinted

Thanks!

Vinted, as no fees, or eBay buy it now. I find it tedious waiting 5 days or whatever for an auction to end.

Vinted- because the buyer pays the postage fee so you know exactly how much you've made unlike ebay where it's a bit of a faff estimating then paying for the postage yourself as if you miscalculate you're out of pocket. Be realistic- price stuff cheap, it's worth more sold than sat in your wardrobe/loft unused. Don't be offended when people make offers.

I've made quite a lot of money on Vinted. However - beware - buyers are VERY particular. I've only sold brand new items (unwanted gifts with tags) however friends of mine have sold used and got a lot of complaints about "bobbling" etc. Buyers do expect pristine condition!

No need to pay postage - I just need to print a label (provided by Vinted) and I put it in a plastic mail bag, sellotape label on and my local shop scans it which puts it into the couriers system.

Never had any issues getting paid either - it automatically goes through no more than 48 hours after buyer receives the package (assuming they do not raise a complaint).

Word of advice - in your listings put in capital letters NOT OPEN TO OFFERS. People can be so cheeky! When the offers do come through (less if you state not open but still happens!) simply hit the decline button and restate you are not open to offers. I had one buyer put in offers in 50p increments despite me declining and she eventually just paid asking price. Ridiculous.

Definitely agree on pricing realistically. You might have paid £100 for a bag that's new with tags but nobody is going to pay you £70 for it just because that's a bit less than it was in store. Anything at all priced over £30 takes a while to shift for me, whereas some £8 Converse sold in an hour.

Vinted all the way! I love that you can set what delivery service you will use which means I can use the one that is digital labelling from the petrol station at the end of the road

Vinted is much less faff than EBay IMO....

Depends what brands and if new with tags. I would use Vinted for used clothes.
