To take a 3.5 year old to see the new Puss in Boots film?

I'd like to take DC to cinema tomorrow. All the films for kids have appalling reviews apart from Puss in Boots, but that's a PG and not a U.

Has anyone seen it and can tell me if it would be too scary or inappropriate? Or are they just too young for PG anything?

5 year old nephew was terrified of the wolf and they all ended up leaving within the first half hour.

My son is 4 and usually very sensitive but we took him last week to see it and he was absolutely fine. I was surprised as thought he would be scared of the wolf but he was fine

give it a try! I took my 3.5 son a couple of weeks ago and he generally enjoyed it and wasn’t scared but with the ads at the start it was a little long and we left about 15 mins early

My nearly 7 year old found it a bit scary at times but not unwatchable and she's quite into spooky. I was so glad I didn't take my 4 year old as there were parts she'd if been terrified of, but then she finds Peter rabbit scary

Thank you all! We did Mario in the end and all loved it.

Very scary villains. Needlessly so.
