To wonder about identical twins?

How come you never get identical twins where one is fat and the other is skinny?

They always seem to be the same size?

I’ve been thinking about this since watching dogs behaving badly earlier in the week. Is it because IT are likely to have a very similar appetite? Or is it a clue that weight is largely down to genetics?

@RedSmartie DH is a mirror twin, confirmed by the tests too. It’s obvious though and the weirdest thing is the moles on their bodies on the same place but different sides. They also both have a bit of earlobe missing, on opposite sides!

DH and his DB are very different personality wise and, whilst they get on well, aren’t hugely close. The personality thing is definitely why I don’t fancy (and never have) BIL! He’s also aged much quicker than DH - harder physical job, smoker and less positive outlook on life.

We have 6 DC and BIL and SIL have 2. Our youngest DD and their youngest DD look like identical twins, apart from DNiece being 12 years older. They have the same nature, mannerisms and speak the same way too!
