If you have, any tips? Is it worth it?

Dulux do a pvc paint now, Weathershield. Can be directly applied without primer apparently.
I’m going to do my brown PVC Door in black when the weather picks up a bit. Does seem like a bit of a push for Frenchic on this thread, especially when my research into it a few months ago recommended the other brands on here, Zinnser in particular, over Frenchic.

Definitely not an ad ! I'm a long time mner
I'm torn between a light sage green or pink.
I will use a roller not a brush as I am not very neat!

A painter and decorator in our village has a waiting list for upvc front doors, he uses Dulux Weathershield.

A couple of years ago my friend bought her expensive dream house in the perfect location.

It was older and had work to be done on a tight budget.

She loathed the white pvc windows and doors so painted them a dark grey.

I cannot tell you the difference it made to her red brick house.

Stunning.

She was so thrilled because it ticked the box of the windows/door being done, which were otherwise perfect and took huge pressure off them and their budget.

Well worth doing IMO.

Yes, Zinsser bright red glossy paint. Sanded, used primer, about 3 or 4 coats of the Zinsser, used masking tape and a tiny paintbrush for the tricky bits. A bit of a Labour of love, but looks fantastic.

Zinsser also do undercoat in basically any colour you want. They mix is specially. I bought a dark grey in the exact shade of the top coat and it is perfect

Make sure you use the right type of roller. Once you decide on the paint you can google what to use.

My next door neighbour! Painted the front door, windows and garage door. Feel like I ought to do mine now.
