To think people who doesn't flush the toilet

When they're at work are the ones who doesn't do it at home either?
Or the ones who have a dog and doesn't pick up their dog poo. What goes through these peoples minds?!

Disgusting, delusional creatures.

But it's far better for the environment not to flush every wee!

MasterBeth · 06/04/2023 16:53

I don't know how these people can bear to leave the cubicle.

What if you left a shit in the loo unflushed, then met your boss or your office crush on the way out of the loo. They'd know you were the shitter!

There are a million worse things for the environment that I would rather people stopped doing first than not flushing their piss.

aSofaNearYou · 06/04/2023 16:55

Well I think YABU to think those who don't flush at work also don't flush at home - I always flush in public settings as it's rude to expect a stranger to deal with it, but don't always flush at home because I don't want to wake the kids up at night and me and DP are in agreement that we both don't mind that.

I think not flushing in public is much worse than not doing it at home.

More to the point, are YOU one of those dirt bags that's guilty of it? Is this the real reason why you're offended?! 🤢

Ya dutty pig!

Such an intelligent response…

Me too - I always flush in public but if it’s just a wee I don’t flush every time (unless we have guests coming) to save water.

SinnerBoy · 06/04/2023 17:03

People who do that should be Tasered.

My mum only ever flushes the toilet if she's done a poo, wee's sit there for hours and it's quite off putting when you want to use the loo. I always flush it when I'm there and get told off every time

I don't get this. If you're wiping, surely there's also a build up of toilet roll if people are weeing and not flushing?

I think it's so gross

We also had someone write all over the inside of a cubicle with poo.

You've reminded me of school and frequent mystery of wondering who The Chocolate Finger was...

NeedWineNow · 06/04/2023 17:26

I think it’s disgusting when people don’t flush, whatever they have done. I was always taught Go, Flush, Wash Hands. If DH needs to go after me, especially if we’re on our way out, he’ll shout ‘don’t flush’. I pretend I haven’t heard him.

Try working retail and finding poops in the changing rooms. 🤢

Happens more than you might think.

That is so so manky!! What's worse is it seems to have happened to you more than once. Any shop I've ever worked (o2 and a corner shop) in didn't have changing rooms so never had this issue.

MasterBeth · 06/04/2023 15:31

As well as non-flushers, we have people who drop (clean?) toilet paper on the floor. Sometimes it's little scraps of paper they've picked off the roll, or maybe those bits at the beginnng of the roll when it's harder to tear off a whole sheet. Sometimes it's whole sheets.

Either way, I think "you're sitting right there on the loo. Why would you drop them on the floor?!"

They’ve used them to cover the seat with.

GalileoHumpkins · 06/04/2023 17:36

In what way are they delusional?

We don't flush after every wee at home. After a while you do get a build up of toilet paper so we flush before we think it's enough to block the toilet. Always flush if visitors are here and always at work or in public toilets.

0hs0s0rry · 06/04/2023 20:39

Well in my last job, we moved into a really nice new office. The toilets consisted of 12 cubicles, 12 nice sinks etc. One day, I was washing my hands and noticed some (used) sanitary towels besides one of the sinks. No idea the thought process behind that. They were literally on the counter besides the sink

eatdrinkandbemerry · 06/04/2023 20:54

I work in an hospital and someone once did a poo in the handbasin 😳
Not a patient either as only staff had access to that area and had to use a key fob

I’ve worked in offices of mostly lovely, apparently normal, sane people, yet toilets often left in disgusting states. Often wonder who the culprits could be.

Yep, and then it doesn't all go away on the first flush. I really hate it, she squirts loads of toilet cleaner on top of it too so there's the constant stench of toilet duck. She does it when she comes to mine so I go straight in after and flush it, whilst telling her I don't have a no flush rule 🙄

KimberleyClark · 07/04/2023 09:49

I think some people must flush and then don’t lift the lid to check it’s ok for the next person. So you go in after them, lift the lid and there’s skid marks or a lone turd floating in an otherwise flushed toilet.

MasterBeth · 07/04/2023 12:53

KimberleyClark · 06/04/2023 17:32

Ok. I hadn't considered that.

But why don't they put them down the toilet?

CeriB82 · 07/04/2023 17:59

We have a shitter at work who leaves floaters in the pan. That is fucking disgusting.
