AIBU or in wishful thinking land to think babies that sleep well from the start will generally stay the same?

DS now 5 months. He obviously woke every couple of hours for a couple of months and we are yet to have a full night of unbroken sleep… but he’s always been easy to settle and now stirs briefly at 5am then sleeps again until 9. No feeds overnight anymore, last feed at 11.

Im worried as DH and I are in the process of separating and I will be on my own at night shortly. Would it be silly to be hopeful here? I’m quite worried.

If they're still ok at 5 months I'm guessing you're probably alright. My two who started off ok but went downhill it was 4 months that things changed.

My first slept through until 4 month regression which lasted a LONG time.

My second has slept through since a couple of weeks old, never waking for feeds. (She's 98th centile before anyone chastises me for not waking her up).

I have three DC - one great sleeper (slept through 7-7 from 12 weeks, napped until she was 4yo), one terrible sleeper (didn't sleep through until he was 3yo) and one in between. They've all been always like that so I think YANBU!
