I get a bus home at school kick out time. Normally fine, I stick my headphones in and read my book. Most kids on it go to a school i work at so I always get a seat because while they are loud and a bit sweary they are actually decent enough kids.
There are 3 kids who get on from a neighbouring school. The 2 boys are pains in the arse. Constant jumping around, loud, rude and frankly just horrible obnoxious little boys. In the last few weeks I've told them off for spitting at an older lady, pushing a toddler and hitting an older lady with a bag. Now 2 of these 3 things were accidental but caused by them behaving stupidly. I've emailed the school each time.
Today, they were swinging around and hit a lady again. Then were in the seats behind me and as the bus jerked one fell back landing on my head with his elbow. Luckily he didn't hit the 4 year old stt on his mum's knee beside me.
I bollocked him, full on told him I was fed up and disgusted by his actions and his lack of consideration, if he was my child he would be grounded until summer and if he didn't sit his backside down I'd have him thrown off the bus. He did apologize but his little arse mate was commenting how i couldn't do anything and wasn't allowed to tell him off.
So I rang the school and pointed out the kids behaviour and that as i could identify them as pupils they had a responsibility to respond to the complaint. A deputy head is calling back on Thursday as they are being ofsteded today and tomorrow. I'm absolutely furious and the year 9 boys from my school actually came to check I was ok because they've never seen me so cross. (works going to be fun when they tell the whole school about miss loosing her shit).
So I'm sitting here with a mild concussion (probable, headache, mild nausea and intermittent dizziness, work in the medical office as the primary first aider so see lots of concussions!) and H is saying I have over reacted by ringing the school (and following up with an email).
AIBU?
