Agreed, it is hugely frustrating and upsetting for patients who have been waiting for appointments for time sensitive conditions.

Tarantellah · 28/03/2023 00:21

What can we do about it? Nothing. So why worry? The only solution is for the government to pay them more, and there isn’t the budget.

I agrée it’s incredibly frustrating but it’s fair enough. They need to do what they can to save our nhs. Have you seen what the nurses get paid, it’s pretty crap across the board. I’m behind them all the way and hope it does make an impact (in a good way)

You never know, some procedures might go ahead if there’s a low/no staff striking at your hospital. My industry has been striking recently and not that many people elected to join so it was essentially business as usual.

I agree it’s really crap what they get paid but what I don’t understand is why the government can’t just put our health first bad pay then properly

£14/hr is awful considering they’ve committed to 5/6 years studying to qualify
