Don't want DH to catch Covid from me

Had positive bloody covid test this morning. Have symptoms but just a bad cold really. DH really really needs to stay clear because of important exam next Tues (tomorrow week). We are lucky to have a good sized house. Do you reckon if we stay in different rooms all day, that we'd be ok to watch TV in the one room in the evening, with me wearing a mask. Also ok to have evening meal at same biggish table?

When I had it, I stated in our bedroom. Luckily we have an en-suite shower room. DH used to bring me food /drill a on a tray to the end of the bed, then retreat and talk to me from the door way. The teens would come and chat from the door too.

No one else caught it from me.

Last time I had covid neither my husband nor son caught it. We didn't particularly distance (though no hugs & kisses etc).
My son then picked it up a couple of months later, but nobody else caught it...definitely lots of cuddles then as he wasn't well.
Not sure how it didn't pass on like.

Let me guess, you've had 4 jabs as well? 😉😁

Yes. Not sure why your asking?

Thanks for your reassurances and advice. Of course I know that the best thing to do if I don't want DH to catch it is to isolate completely, so that's what I've done. 😊😷
If he had Covid, he couldn't do the exam (which is oral) on the scheduled date next week, and it would take some time to rearrange.
