Septic tank water - safe for baby? - posting here for traffic

I'm sorry I'm posting here. I'm hoping there's more of a chance in it being seen.
We've come away - still in the uk with 8 month old baby.
It's a septic water tank they have here.
Is it safe for baby to have this water as drinking water, and also boiled for formula?
I'm looking on Google but there's no clear answers.
Thank you in advance.

It's a private water supply and is being filtered to ensure the water is clean. It sounds from the book that they are managing the system. When I lived with a private water supply the council would come and test the supply every so often.

The septic tank is separate from the water supply coming in.

(Although I am now wondering which part of Google is not clear on whether it is safe to drink from the septic tank)

Ok thanks everyone. I think I got a bit mixed up with it all. Baby has been crying and seems really off since yesterday afternoon. And we've been here 2 days. And I remember the guy saying 'septic tank' so I have been panicking and googling. And the only thing that came up was 'if your baby drinks water from a septic tank they will be dead within a few days'. So I mega panicked thinking that's what had happened .... feel like a right dummy now.

I've just re read the handbook and it definitely says tap water is from the spring and is filtered.

Don't worry, for those of us used to living rurally septic tanks and private water supplies are much more common, if it's first time you come across it, it can be confusing. On upside water supply may well be fresher water than you get at home!
