She rolled her eyes and pursed her lips for bloody ages over a stupid binoculars mention by Charlie. How rude and inappropriate! Why is this tolerated? It was bloody cringeworthy to watch and the producers had to switch over...
She needs a good head wobble

My mouth was wide open. Look at the video above 🤦🏻‍♀️

It's surprising that this thread is about Naga's response, rather than Charlie's horizon-beating binoculars.

OddsocksinmyDocs · 25/03/2023 13:00

Naga can be rather rude!

bellac11 · 25/03/2023 13:02

Dont people who say stupid and illogical things really piss you off though

My OH does this all the time, Im surprised my eyes are still in my head. He wondered today for example, if a dog being walked by some woman we saw was a guide dog

The dog was an Irish wolfhound on two long lengths of rope, very clearly training lead style

A fucking guide dog.

Charlie Stayt is a bit of an idiot sometimes though.

He was speaking to the owner of a badly flooded caravan park and asked 'so, the Riverside caravan park, is it next to the river?'

Naga has a nippy demeanour most of time.

LookItsMeAgain · 25/03/2023 13:09

I thought she was hilarious.
I mean the scientist had said numerous times that it's going to be very difficult to see the asteroid if you're in the Northern Hemisphere but in the Southern Hemisphere should be visible, even using binoculars, and Charlie kept asking if it could be seen and using binoculars.
He actually sounded like a peeping Tom when he said "I like binoculars " 😆😆😆😆

Exactly this 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I don't get it either. I wish this woman would get off our screens. The number of articles about her being rude is crazy. She must have something on her BBC bosses. I'm ethnic and I say this sincerely - I think they feel they can't get rid of her because she's a tick in the box for diversity.

They can't stand each other (my nephew worked with them for 18 months). I can't watch Naga; her idea of interviewing is to tell her interviewee everything she knows and all of her opinions on it. She's not interested at all in their thoughts/expertise.

I think Charlie Stayt is worse though when interviewing but in a different way. There's always a VERY long introduction/lead up to the actual question he is going to ask. I sort of like Naga. She's feisty and she can give folk a hard time, especially politicians.

ssd · 25/03/2023 13:24

Naga has always got on my nerves

2bazookas · 25/03/2023 13:27

How I wish the BBC would get rid of NM. Can't stand the woman. I am sick of her crass, inappropriate remarks.

Just banter.

It’s not banter, she’s an arse. If the bloke behaved like this the feminist quarter on here would be going batshit crazy about it

This had me in stitches 😜
Well yes sure - but that response shouldn't be on TV! Perhaps this is why I watch it tho🤣

Can’t be doing with her - give me Sally any day! I still miss Dan & Louise. Both so warm & empathetic.

LadyKenya · 25/03/2023 13:40

I think that Naga is fine. She does not hide the fact that Charlie's often irrelevant witterings get on her wick. If anything she is too honest about how she feels, on air. I prefer her to some of the obvious fakeness of some of her colleagues.

TidyDancer · 25/03/2023 13:43

She's dreadful. I can't watch BBC breakfast anymore. I wish they would get rid - she's just rude and unwatchable.

I gave up on BBC breakfast because of her too

EddieSteady · 25/03/2023 14:04

She's awful and unbelievably rude. I remember when she was on Saturday kitchen and was a complete asshole.

Tekkentime · 25/03/2023 14:06

She is very rude. All I want is to watch someone more cheery in the morning.

TreeLine23 · 25/03/2023 14:30

NM. Thick as mince & not as appealing.

I agree. I also think her humour is often deadpan. They clearly do get on, they're just very different. Charlie would have me eye rolling if I worked with him, I'm sure. Doesn't mean I don't like him though.
