This is a ovely house - but the video ! I'm intrigued as to why the sellers agreed to the estate agent doing a video like this. Or am I behind the times and this makes the house more memorable?

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hillarious! The bored teenager on the couch is now no doubt mortified by her mum's terrible singing and over inflated sense of her own talents!! I doubt v much the estate agent recommended that nonsense!!

Quite a nice house but I could never live in it as I'd have that bloody video and song playing in my mind everyday!!

It is the estate agent doing it!

skgnome · 24/03/2023 11:27

This is so amazing and cringy!
love it
so many questions is that em the owner of the state agent?
also whoever came out with this, can we be best friends?
in all seriousness, there’s no such thing as bad publicity and if as others have said, it’s on a very busy road with a high price for the area - publicity will be a good thing

HurryShadow · 24/03/2023 11:35

I love the fact that even the dog is like "WTF" as the camera comes near it in the groomers!

I'm glad they moved the big Tesco Bag for Life from next to the giant mice for the video.

If I was the kid(s), there's no way I would agree to be in that, so I'm seriously hoping the girl fussing the dog and the one in the bed are not the people that live there!

So cringe!

EmmaGrundyForPM · 24/03/2023 07:51

It's definitely the Estate Agent - here's another one of her videos

Even more questions…
do the people working for that agency have to do a musical audition as part as their job interview?
is the manager/owner a big musical fan?
I mean, great place to work!
and I really want them to sell my house 😂 😂

cupofteaandabiccyplease · 24/03/2023 11:46

Wtaf have I just watched ?? Cringe!

TorchwoodWho · 24/03/2023 11:49

Haha that is bizarre - but does make it memorable!
The video wouldn't put me off if I liked the property. I like that house, for example, but what puts me off is that although it's detached, look how close the neighbouring houses are - that's what would have me looking elsewhere. I could get over the singing estate agent. 😁

EmmaGrundyForPM · 24/03/2023 11:53

The singing EA doesn't come with the property, sadly.

I don't know the area, but lots of people are saying it's on a busy road. However, if that doesn't put you off, it's a potentially great house. Presumably you could ask for the giant mice to be thrown in as part of the deal?

The woman who is singing is on Jeremy Vine now!

MissMogwai · 24/03/2023 13:54

Absolutely love it 🤣

Fair play to her, that video was over 3 minutes long 🤣🤣

Longwhiskers · 24/03/2023 14:13

I think it’s genius! And fun to watch. I wonder if you pay extra for the agency to make a singing video.

HansSolo22 · 24/03/2023 14:19

That is absolute gold 😂. I mean it’s definitely going to be unforgettable (sadly for the wrong reasons). But what the fuck are the 2 adult human size mice either side of the fireplace…?!

I would so pay the extra!

EmmaGrundyForPM · 24/03/2023 14:58

Well, having read everybody's comments, and learning this has been featured on the Jeremy Vine show, I've changed my mind. This clearly is the way to sell a house, or at least gain maximum publicity for it!

I hate the house and couldn’t get more than 20 seconds in with the video.

I like the house, but I agree with you about the video.

MereDintofPandiculation · 24/03/2023 17:21

What the video highlighted to me (as I was trying to avoid both seeing and hearing that woman) was how small many of the rooms were, and how busy the road was - some of those "desirable" rooms you'd be looking at cars all day.

WeAreAllLionesses · 24/03/2023 17:48

OMFG 😯I would never use that estate agent!! The vidoes, lyrics and houses are all just awful.

EmmaGrundyForPM · 24/03/2023 18:30

It's currently on BBC Radio 4 news...

I can't find the video

loobylou10 · 24/03/2023 18:43

Me neither

CheeseMcKnees · 24/03/2023 18:44

The video is awful, it accentuates the busy main road as you see cars driving past the windows every few seconds!

The woman who is singing is on Jeremy Vine now!

If you want to listen to the estate agent speaking on R2, it's on BBC Sounds, Jeremy Vine today at 1:40 into the programme.

So many questions! They were really pushing the high notes plus one nearly got bitten by a cat. They deserve danger money!
