How have you increased energy levels?

Everything seems so busy at the moment and I feel I’m lacking in a bit of energy! Has anyone else managed to increase their energy levels? I know I need to exercise but after work I just feel too knackered , any other tips? Vitamins?

I cut out all caffeine and decaf drinks, this stopped the energy slumps. That was four years ago.

its really hard to exercise after work; any way you can squeeze it in in the morning a few days a week?

Vitamin D supplement

game changer

Reduced my sugar intake and started supplementing iron, b vitamins, vitamin d. Also started exercising a bit more and sleeping a bit more, and drinking enough, just an extra glass or two of water for me. I still have too much caffeine, but try and have more green teas and less coffee.

I take liquid Floradix, it's a natural supplement that's really good for helping increase iron levels. Also, eating less carb heavy meals definitely helps!

Vitamin D here too. Felt my joints tired. It is helping.

I found that starting to exercise was a positive upwards spiral for my energy levels. If I keep up a level of exercise then I feel more energetic in every aspect of my life. I wonder if it’s because I sleep better after exercise or something else.

Probably not helpful, but I was knackered all the time before I started and now I’m not.

Low carbs and avoiding processed foods & too much alcohol for me. Much less likely to have an energy slump

I think it depends on the reason for the lack of energy. Are you mentally drained or physically? Are you well physically, any deficiencies etc?
Once you get to the root you can start to work on how to fix it.

I find that regardless of how tired I am exercising helps. I then sleep better and take better care of my body.
When I’m mentally drained sometimes it’s as simple as a nice bath, a phone call with friends or short walk. I feel energised just by stopping and taking time to check in on myself.
