Glasses

I'm posting here as it seems it's got the most footfall.
I've got a pair of glasses that I want to keep but now have a new prescription, I've seen lenseology will replace my lenses. Before I send them in has anyone used them? Any reviews at all please?

Any opticians will reglaze an existing frame with your new prescription, they do vary in price though.

I’ve just looked on lensology, it is very cheap. I’d just wonder how things would work if you got your glasses back but couldn’t actually see clearly or they damaged the frame or something?

That what I'm worried about; is it a case of too good to be true

Specsavers won't in case they damage the frame - they cant replace it

Vision express will reglaze existing frames, but they do ask to see them before agreeing and seeing if the frame is able to be reused or if it’s likely to break and advise accordingly.
Dh has used glasses direct with success for reglazing. They were a metal frame, cannot remember if there were any exclusions/stipulations, but it was probably at our own risk iyswim.

I recently purchased new glasses from justgoodglasses.co.uk; I'm really pleased with them. Fabulous pair of Fendi glasses for about £40 in their sale - also got a "spend another £5 to get free postage" message - I was about to ignore it then realised I could buy a spare pair for £6. Both glasses came with a pair of spare lenses.

they arrived in about two weeks - but they had to wait a week or so for the Fendi frames to arrive, so typically you'd be looking at a week.
I had a look and they reglaze frames from £15.
I don't recall looking at lenseology (weekend of looking at so many sites I lost the will to live) - have you looked at reviews on trustpilot for them?
Alternatively get a quote from a local optician - by the time you've paid two lots of postage the price differential may not be so great.
