Got to take two days off so want to do something fun and make the most of it (and not have a houseful of classmates!). Might go somewhere that would normally be super busy over school holidays and weekends.

Any ideas?

DS will have work set online again. I took DD and various classmates to the picket line with chocolates for the striking teachers the first time, only to find that there wasn't one. I gave them to the staff in reception instead!

My two were off last week for strikes...I took them into London, for a museum trip and then afternoon tea and a trip to a bookshop. I did consider Legoland but it's closed!

That was my plan last Wednesday, so took my son to a cool museum thinking it would be quiet. Instead it was invaded by school classes from schools that weren't striking 😂. This time I'll try and get him into school on the strike days.
