Just when you thought Boris Johnson could sink any lower

Boris Johnson has put his father forward for a knighthood. What the actual fuck? Apart from the fact that I disagree with the honours system anyway, what had his father done to deserve it? Zero, nothing. Morally bankrupt to the absolute rotten core. There’s a change.org petition if you agree but that I can’t link to on here.

Aibu to be outraged?

How about an award for teaching his son Boris that life’s a game, principles are a bit of a bore, and women shouldn’t be taken too seriously?

When it comes to the elite, I always presumed it was one large game of chess

was breaking his wife’s nose just a jape? He and Hancock should both be completely unemployable. What is it the Americans call it, moral turpitude? Neither of them know what a moral is.

did you see Hancock threatened to remove funding for a centre for disabled kids to manipulate a Tory MP? Shower of shits.

and I don’t think all tories are c**ts, just the current rump.

Perhaps it is for “services in slapping the arses of female MPs at the Tory party conference”? Or “outstanding work in breaking his wife’s nose in front of their children”?

Well, quite probably... The whole rotten family are lower than whale shit, if you ask me.

HiccupHorrendousHaddock · 07/03/2023 18:51

YABU - this is just the same old sleazy self-promoting, nest feathering, crony-enriching, nepotistic, egregious shit Boris has been doing for years.

There are no depths to which he won’t sink. He’s morally bereft.

It’s revolting. I heard his sister interviewed yesterday on the Newsagents podcast. Apparently Stanley has done a lot for the Conservative Party. What can one say. 🤮🤮🤮

user567543 · 07/03/2023 18:55

No it’s clear there are no depths they won’t plumb. Amazed that any of the Johnsons are in the public eye.

Barnstormaway787 · 07/03/2023 19:02

To be fair, Stanley did do a lot of ground-breaking work on environmental issues as a policy advisor to the European Commission, but that was back in the 1980s so a long time ago, and I think he was working for the EU then (an institution he has since turned against) , not the British government, so I don’t know why that merits a reward.

NowDoYouBelieveMe · 07/03/2023 19:19

Apparently he's put forward a massive list (100 instead of the previous 60-ish) and made some so outlandish they can easily be refused, and he can get all his other cronies in there as planned

He's even nominated sitting MPs, perhaps as as a kind of bribe to get one to stand down so he can stand in their constituency and be safely re-elected.

The guy will be PM again one day, as repugnant as that may be. Britain can't seem to find the necessary fight to stop it.

Hawkins003 · 07/03/2023 18:26

Just because it's not public does not mean he has not helped one way or another

Well in Boris’ mind, the biggest contribution to Britain anyone could possibly make is to produce Boris. 🙄

NewsnightThumbs · 07/03/2023 19:46

The News Agents podcast covered this yesterday, it’s worth a listen (the Emily Maitlis etc. podcast)
