Just had notice from our after school club provider that they are increasing their fees by 45%.

are most after school clubs increasing their prices and if so how much increase is reasonable?

(Obviously I’ve googled the charges from the next two closest schools who appear to charge £7.50 and £8.50. That’s very low in comparison so I’m wondering if other provisions have increased their prices but not update their online literature yet)

Depends on what is included. It's possible that your price includes food and the other schools don't.

My DC's school just put theirs up by 10% but they don't provide food.

It's went up last year, breakfast club 7.30-8.45 is £5 breakfast included

ASC is £5 until 4.30pm or £12 until 6pm, snack of toast / hotdog / wrap included for both sessions

I console myself by thinking I used to pay £55 a DAY before school so with the 20% tax free childcare it's not so bad
