To ask if anyone actually likes open plan living?

I love property porn. Always looking at big fancy houses well out of my budget.

I’ve noticed that there is a lot of open plan living out there! I think it would be horrible: a kitchen/diner with a bit for sitting, and a separate living room. Fine. But completely open plan?! Gives me the horrors! How do you escape the noise? What about privacy?

I think some people need better extractors. I am quite surprised at stale and unclean furniture smell. That sounds more like wet to me than from food. Mine certainly doesn't smell stale and unclean (and yes I know you get used to own zmells, but you do register them after few days away)

Love that because I don’t want my lounge smelling like my kitchen it must mean I’m unhygienic and cook smelly food 😂 I wish my cooking was that exotic, it’s really quite plain.

I hate it. We chose our house for being one of the only ones on the street that hadn't been knocked through. I like being able to have distinct spaces!
