Sorry for the shameful traffic post in aibu and also I've name changed but my two year old has contracted sticky eye / conjunctivitis.

He is suffering very badly- his eyes are fused together. Thing is the pharmacist doesn't have any of the drops he needs and told me to ring around. I can't source it.

Please help us mumsnet, have any of you in the Yorkshire area been able to find these drops today?

We are going to central London by train tomorrow so if anyone in London knows too..

I'm so grateful x

Oh poor little fella. Conjunctivitis can be really upsetting for them. It’s a horrible sensation having your eyes essentially glued shut.

Our pharmacy have a limited stock of Chloramphenicol at the moment. We keep the off brand stuff for scripts and we’ll only sell Optrex Infected Eye drops off script. It’s a large supermarket pharmacy so might be worth ringing a few of them if they’re close.

If you have no luck then push for a prescription. It may increase your chances.

Thank you all, we sourced a bottle with your help! The next battle was getting a drop into each eye!
