Smoking weed in Amsterdam

Cousin and his friend are going there for a few nights. They're pretty young. They've said they're going to smoke weed over there as it's not full of crap like here. They haven't smoked any since very young. I said they're stupid as they don't know what effect it'll have. Plus they have responsible jobs. What if they're tested at some point? It stays in your system for a while.
Does anyone have any info or links I can send them? They're lovely lads. I'm hoping they're just winding me up?

It's just a bit of weed and they're adults. My work does random drug and alcohol tests every month and has posters everywhere about their "Zero tolerance rule" which in reality isn't true otherwise 99% of the staff would be sacked. We can't even take certain medicines or have a drink 12 hours before a shift, ironically most of us have to be heavily medicated to get through a shift.

I'd inform them you don't approve but that's it, mind your own business.

Now you've moved on to saying "hope they don't drink". Honestly OP, they are going to Amsterdam to have a bit of fun. They are not gonna come back addicted to crack and ruin their lives off a bit of weed and a drink! I've never had weed, and been to Amsterdam. But it would be ridiculous of me to begrudge anyone it or have this much anxiety around it!

There's no point worrying about it, they are going to do whatever they want to do. They might misjudge their intake & get shitfaced/paranoid, they might just have a great time & a laugh. I'd be far more concerned they may be considering visiting sex workers, 70% of whom are coerced.

I'd tell them that, then leave them to get the highjinks out of their systems.

Tourists off their tits on drugs are prime targets for pickpockets and theives. That's probably the best advice you can give them.
Oh, and book in advance if you want to go to the Van Gogh museum.

One tip I might give them is don't visit a liqueur tasting bar or smoke a spliff on the same day that they rent a bike!
