come on!! Be absolutely honest. how many of you have thrown that fleece over the top of your jimmys and done the school run?! I have many a time, in fact did it this very morning, but bit embarassing when the teacher came and asked me a question about DS and noticed the winnie the pooh sticking out the bottom of my jeans!

Never did it, my dc would have been mortified. Ffs how long does it take to pull on a pair of trousers and trainers? Hmm
Was collecting a prescription in the pharmacy the other day and a woman rocked up in her pyjamas and dressing gown demanding to know where her prescription was. Sorry love, if you're well enough to walk to the pharmacy, intimidate the staff, push your way to the front of the queue then you're well enough to Chuck a few clothes on.

This thread has a bad case of rigor mortis.

Aagh! Why do people resurrect this stuff? Hmm Equally why do people post anything at all on zombie threads once they've realised its a zombie, because it will then appear in active convos and people will start commenting- surely better to just ignore.
although my previous post still stands

Can't you just get up a bit earlier?

I think it's ok to look like crap, but I think you need to be wearing clothes that aren't pyjamas. Even if they have baby sick on them. I would just feel really undignified wandering around outside with my pjs on.

Out of curiosity do those who wear pjs on the school run wear the same pj's that night?

Call me a snob but I think it's appalling. You expect your dc to get up and dressed ready for school but you won't do the same yourself? What sort of an example are you setting? Maybe as a one off due to illness or exceptional circumstances but as a regular thing - no.

Plenty of people get up at 6am and survive. Me for one! In fact, some mornings I get up at half 5. I jump in the shower, do my hair and makeup and then get everyone else sorted while wearing my dressing gown. I put my clothes on just before leaving the house mainly to avoid them being ruined by sticky fingers or baby vom.

OP I find it so odd that you prioritise you having an hour long bath every day over teaching your children the basics. Perhaps doing the school run once or twice in your PJs would be a bit of a 'slummy mummy' laugh, but every day is just worrying. How can you have so little to do with your day that you can slob around in pjs and take hour long baths every day?
