To get a skin fade

I’m a mid thirties female who likes to have a pixie crop.
Out and about in Manchester this week I’ve seen a couple of women with amazing skin fade hair do’s. I work in a ‘professional’ environment but no specific dress code - AIBU to get a skin fade?

You wouldn't look out of place in any work environment in my city (Liverpool). It would grow out quite quickly as well, if you did find it caused issues. So I'd say go for it.

Try it and see! It will grow back very quickly.

(FYI I like having very short hair)

If you are worried re work, have it done at the start of a holiday.

Absolutely you should; they're fab 😍 I'd love one but I'm a clipper number zero all over, so there's no hair to fade, if you will.

I'm a mid 50s chartered accountant: doesn't seem to matter these days 🙂

Fab! All very positive then. The push I needed and I’ll go for it next time!

Perfectly acceptable in a professional environment. I’ve had fades before, and I currently have a bob with a shaved undercut.

They’re not unprofessional, however I think they look harsh and ageing.

I almost had a pixie today but decided to keep my hair until the weather gets a bit warmer. I’m definitely shaving it off next time, it’s just so liberating. Plus I’ve got the messiest mop in the world.
