To speak to someone who damaged my car door?

Saturday morning I went out the front and noticed a dent in my front passenger door. I have a white car so knew it was new. It was also clearly done with enough force for it not to have gone unnoticed by the person who did it.

I only use my car twice a week, on a Wednesday to take my child to football, and on a Thursday to take him swimming.
Wednesday I parked so the passenger side was against a grass verge, so 100% it didn't happen then.
So I contacted the swimming place, asked if they had CCTV covering the car park. They said yes and asked for my car details.

After reviewing the CCTV they said a car came in at 3:55pm (I arrived at 3;20pm) and parked next to me. They left 5 mins before I did and no-one else came before or after them, and although you can't see them 'hitting' my car, you can see them opening doors where the dent is.
They gave me the car make and colour, and 3 digits of the number plate (they couldn't see more due to the CCTV quality).

It's only a small family run pool, so I can easily find the person (tonight when I go).

So do I say 'Hey, you hit my car last week and caused a dent and scraped the paint off, what shall we do about it? It's on CCTV' and try and keep it upbeat?

Leave a note on their car about it, saying to contact me so we can discuss (in case they're aggressive with me face to face)?

Contact my insurance and just give them the reg number?

Nothing?

I would do option A - face them head on. See their reaction then contact your insurance (to claim off their insurance) or threaten the police if they keep objecting. I had a friend who went through the police for this sort of scenario and they were successful in getting it sorted for the friend - after matching the paint to the suspects car after they kept denying they did anything.

Yeah, I think I'll do that. I was worried they'll probably deny it, and both cars are white, annoyingly, but there is no where else it could have happened. And there is CCTV showing the car doors opening next to mind.
