To not know what to get! 8 year old birthday

DD is 8 soon and when asked what she wants she doesn’t know. I’ve got no idea! She doesn’t want an experience and already has a tablet that she loves. She’s quite a happy soul and is happy with whatever she gets but I’m stuck. She likes arty kits and being on her tablet. What has your eight year old loved? X

How about a camera (Polaroid or other) and a nice, hardback scrap book with accessories - gel pens, nicely patterned tapes etc, so she can stick in the photos she's taken?
Rollerskates?
Is she a big reader? Could get the first in a series of books so it's a gift you can build on? Or a kindle?
My DD loves make up, so I got her some cheap eyeshadow palettes to play around with - revolution do cute themed ones like Dr Seuss, Friends, The Simpsons etc

My daughter loves her smiggle magic pen she writes and drawers with them the other end of the pen is a torch 🔦 to see the drawing etc

Infact anything smiggles

She loves books, clothes, hair stuff and bath stuff and body butter

On the stationery theme anything crafty including a make your own label machine and make your own pontoon kits and jewellery and bead kits

She also likes board games too

What about caterpillars that you can watch turn into butterflies. I'd recommend insect lore. My son got them last year and soon to be 7 year old has requested them for his birthday.
