My other thread is pretty miserable. So I wanted something light-hearted. And this new technician at the Lyell centre meow 😁😍 I mean jack is gorgeous. But look those eyes and that voice .....

I'm not seeing it either 🤣 he's really annoying me, what is his actual job he just lurks and then makes a random deep observation.

Jack used to be fit but I've gone off him a bit now. He's not as much fun without Clarissa is he?

We do love how Nikki and Jack are always over involved in every aspect of each case. Chasing villains, victim support, you name it they're on it 🤣🤣

Anyone else feel sorry for the new head of the Lyle?

Every time I shut my eyes I now picture Jack with a beady eyed capybara head. It’s not pretty and I like capybaras.
I also find Velvy incredibly annoying.

I agree, the writing is terrible now , the plots are ridiculous. The acting is dire , and I don’t believe the Jack and Nikki romance either, there’s absolutely no chemistry. I miss Clarissa, and the old boss , although I can’t remember his name . I feel compelled to watch as I used to enjoy it but after every episode I’m so annoyed with most of it I don’t know why I’m continuing !

I have been watching it on iplayer so I’m not going to put any spoilers but the one I watched last night set at a Festival made all previous episodes look like works of writing genius.
At the beginning I said to DH (joking), “they are probably going to get Jack and Nicky to xxxxxxxxxx as well”

Unfortunately, I'm stuck in front of it again because dh etc. I've shared the "slightly witless" epithet with him and am letting it sink in.....

He thinks I thought Jack was hot - no, not in a month of Sundays - but he was better looking before he shaved his head. Has he done it in a fit of pique because he's going grey? It looks like it to me. Dear Old Jack, men who shave their heads hoping it'll hide the grey and perpetuate their 'youth' only make themselves look ugly and silly and oh yes, still old. Embrace it mate.

Nikki, go and do another series lovely, you're ruining your reputation and that of your family.

Oh and vis a vis Velvy, does he ask those witless questions to give other characters a chance to fill in the more witless viewers who can't work it out for themselves?
