Working From Home - Which Jobs Would Be Impossible?

I was just wondering if there are a lot of jobs which cannot be done from home.
I reckon there are loads.....................................

Gas engineer
Plumber
Builder
Electrician
Roofer
Dog walker
Police officer
Paramedic
Sailor
firefighter
Telephone engineer

Vet

One with a micromanaging boss.
One where the boss (often but not always a man) wants everyone in the office, to play the big I am or dodge a share of childcare responsibilities.

Neither DH or I can work from home. I'm a dog walker/pet-sitter and DH is a plasterer/tiler.

Dog & rat catcher.

Working with radioactivity, lazers, chemicals, viruses and biologics is not recommended in the home.

Oh I don't know.
I had a telephone consultation with a specialist vet not long ago.
Some vet students dialled in too.

They wouldn't be able to operate on animals though.

I’m a microbiologist in pharma and I could do probably 1/2 days from home but that’s it.

My dh is an engineer and he can work from home a lot.

All the ones who went into their workplace during lockdown is the easy answer

Alot of jobs which seem not being able to WFH surprisingly are. I'm a police officer but not frontline and I work from home...I work alongside the CPS and deal with cases going to court and weather they are court ready or not, helping officers achieve charges by assisting with case files and evidence, investigative enquiries etc. There is a lot of jobs behind the scenes in many public sector services.

I know that.
I meant the sort of police officer who goes to arrest bad guys.

Mind you, I suppose it could be done from home. But just on a very small scale. 🤣
