Bathroom flooring in rental

Hi everyone! Just wondering what you'd do in this situation.

You're renting a flat for a year, potentially two.
Bathroom floor looks battered (cracked, discoloured and stained).
You can pay 40 pounds to get it "fixed" (or rather just camouflaged with another layer of different flooring). Would you bother or not? Since it's only for a year or two.

Thank you

I'm renting on a one year contract and had similar with my kitchen, the vinyl has not been laid properly, cracked in places and a horrible dirty brown colour. Not a great combination! I have used Floorpops self adhesive vinyl tiles to cover it up.

It was very easy to do - I did use some tile tape to keep them down, as the floor underneath is so uneven and awful. They are removable, so I'll get my deposit back. It cost me around £70 all in.

I now smile when I go in the kitchen instead of grimace! Worth every penny.
