Posting here for traffic really. I'm a solicitor around 4 year post qualified currently working in personal injury and have a background of doing so. Work fully remote due to locations childcare etc and it works well. I was a remote worker prior to covid too!

But i want to do something else, what other jobs could my experience get me thats still remote? I just want something new.

I don't have advice on what other jobs you could get with your experience, but I am curious to know why you'd want to change? I'm asking because I was thinking of becoming a solicitor so that I would have the option to wfh when I have children etc.

@Shauna27 its a good job, i enjoy it but its also a lot of red tape in terms of management at most firms. Some days you feel as though you just can't get it right. I don't hate the work and i enjoyed my study and training journey!

@feeona123 i'd love the sound of this! Will look into it. Do u know much about how to get into it?

Have you looked at any Civil Service roles?
Although some departments are hybrid wfh and office attendance, some departments are still fully remote. I’m not sure about roles which would directly use your personal injury experience but having a law degree (or GLD if you went down that route) and legal experience would be an asset for some roles such as legal advisor/policy advisor roles etc.
All the best for your new career 😊

Corporate law either in Ftse firm or a magic circle law firm. Stick with with the law but you won't get interesting big bucks stuff stiking to ambulance chasing.

@feeona123 thank you!

@Alex Drake thanks!

@Youdoyoubabe yeah, I've worked magic circle as a paralegal and don't fancy the work till u die culture. Also, I don't 'ambulance chase', I specialise mostly in complex injury involving children as well as fatalities. :)
