WWYD. Giving up Saxenda

Hi,

Just after opinions, I have been on Saxenda as a type 2 diabetic and lost just over 2 stone / 10% of my body weight so far. I should be feeling great and maybe it is one thing that has kept me going and certainly helped me give up alcohol in the first instance which I was so very glad of. Unfortunately I didn't see Sciatic coming so left wonder what do I do.

When I landed up in A&E last weekend for toileting problems, they tested my urine and this came back clear, I felt guilty wondering if Saxenda is causing my problems of back pain and numb stomach but was told it was a good thing to lose weight and that I could reverse the diabetes. A recent blood test as part of an annual diabetic review hasn't flagged up anything either to the best of my knowledge.

As I come to the end of a pen I'm wondering if I should now be giving up Saxenda? part of me has wondered if the two problems are related.
I checked my blood sugars but then that has come out ok at 5.2 recently.

I've been very recently put on Co codamol (I know I will become likely constipated) and Amitriptyline (which is an antidepressant but also used to treat neuropathic pain as in my case) but I'm concerned antidepressant can cause weight gain? then again, I'm advised against alcohol on the labels so it's not like I'm ever going to drink again either. I'm just wonder if I'm stupid to continue Saxenda.

I have tried searching support groups to see if I could source answers but it seems people with already existing back conditions and or on same meds above then turn to Saxenda in the weight battle understandably so I'm torn.
