To kiss with tongues?

Comment on Gogglebox just now has DH and I questioning if we're weird?!

One of them said "errr why would you kiss with tongues? You aren't 12!"

Is this something people don't do as adults and we haven't realised at any point over the last 20 years?

(I hasten to add it's not the only way we kiss. And only in private.)

I’ve been with my boyfriend only a couple of months so it’s not just for people who have been together years stuck in a time warp. Date no 2 we had a lovely snog in a shop doorway at 11pm! I wouldn’t normally be snogging in public in my mid 40’s but isn’t that what you do when you like someone and have been on a nice date?!! I needed to find out if he was a good kisser before date no 3, as kissing is very important to me. I love kissing. But I needn’t have worried, he’s a great kisser (and great at everything else too!)
