Has anyone just stopped enjoying booze?

I don’t drink much, but occasionally have a ‘big night’ (maybe 3/4 times a year) and the odd Prosecco or G&T.

However I just don’t like it much and it’s cone in quite suddenly.

I think I might stop drinking which is obviously not a big deal but it seems a bit odd to just have lost my taste for it.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Became intolerant when perimenopause hit. me & DH haven't drank for over a year not even Christmas and Was shocked how angry and argumentative people are when drinking !
Feel so great now.

I went off red wine, I used to have a bottle most nights with supper, then realised this was not doing. Me any good, three or four stones lighter I think this was the right decision! I will have a couple of glasses of white if we go out, or a beer or two, I quite like the skinny beer you can get, but I have lost so much weight it has been worth it, though obvs I have cut out other stuff too like chocolate etc.

I went off alcohol in my 40's.

Don't really care for it much either.
Seems to be an expensive waste of money.

I've been questioned by defensive drinkers and I just say I'm allergic to it and they pipe down.

I don’t care about drinking alcohol any more - after I got Long COVID now find hard to tolerate even a mouthful of wine don’t miss it tbh

I did. Aged 38. I felt unwell the moment I had a sip of my glass of wine. I've not touched a drop since. It's been 3 years now.

Mid 40's here and I've also gone off it.
I don't sleep if I have more than two glasses of wine and one makes me feel tired after the initial 20 minute high!
Not worth it anymore in my opinion.
