Sertraline and Zopiclone

Please help I’m so desperate. I’ve been taking Sertraline for 5 days and have had little to no sleep. I got zopiclone today but terrified to take it as I don’t want to become dependent on it. Any advice greatly appreciated. I’m taking sertraline to calm the anxiety around sleeping.

@Vanill1 how are you now? I’m in a similar boat; just coming up to the 4 week mark, sleep is still tricky, as is the anxiety. Did you get settled? I hope you are well. X

@TreeHuggerMum1 hiya hun! Yes completely back to normal. The meds are a miracle but take a few months to fully work. I understand how desperate u must feel but keep going as it gets better I promise! Feel free to message any time as I know how lonely and tough it is xxx

When would you say you really noticed a difference in your anxiety? How long did your side effects last? I’m trying not to use sleeping aids, I’ve got Zopiclone for when it’s gets really bad, but just has another night of very little sleep. I’m signed off work for a month but due to go back next week and just not sure it’s realistic. 😬
