To ask what you did to mark your 40th year?

Shamelessly posting for traffic. I’d like to mark my 40th year in some
way. A little like a 40th year bucket list. I have fairly modest things in mind.
So far I have a couple of ideas- read 10 classic books, enter 40 competitions, donate blood, and attend a sporting event. What did you do? What would you add to yours? Thanks so much for your ideas and experiences!

I’m supposed up be running London marathon in april
i’d like to go to NYC but realistically we might not be able to afford it
I’d like to do a few other memorable activities to commemorate the year!

I've copied some ideas from thread! I'm going to try paddle boarding, wild swimming, and using a pottery wheel.

Had a party, which was brilliant. Ran a half marathon in London.

Another lock down one, lots of promises and plans for how we'd celebrate post covid but life moves on doesn't it and it felt pathetic to bring it up when people we're celebrating being free!
