To ask if you gained weight on HRT?

Just that really. And if you did, how much did you put on?

I'm still fairly 'young' for peri-menopause and HRT, but I'm experiencing a load of the symptoms and my Dr has offered HRT for me.

I've worked so hard to lose a few stone over the years. Now I'm size 8 and so are all my clothes. I really don't want to put the weight back or and or have to go out and buy an entire new wardrobe. It may sound vain, but the idea of putting on weight after working so hard is really stressing me out.

Yes. 7lbs in 2 weeks so stopped it and lost it.

I've been on it 2 months. I have put on 3 pounds. I don't have hot flushes or aching hips anymore - that stopped straight away. But it hasn't helped my libido or my energy levels. I generally feel a bit crapper and lower than I did before. And I have indigestion. Am due my 3 month review after Christmas. I dont know what to think about it.

Testosterone might help with libido.

No weight gain for me.

I also lost weight on hrt. Mostly belly fat, which really pleased me as I've always been apple-y. More importantly, though, I have stopped wanting to murder everyone. Now I only want to murder a select few. 😃

I am so new to learning anything about HRT - I've only just discovered that there are various types & hormones.

Are some better than others? What do they each treat? Testosterone is mentioned below about libido. What about the more mental issues? And also dryness?

Is a lot of it trial and error?

It has not sorted the dryness - needed a separate vaginal oestrogen for that. There are multiple options depending on what suits you in terms of application.

Discuss with your doctor who will take your own factors into all of this.
