in thinking it is flase advertising for mascara ad models...

....to wear false eyelashes?

i want to see the before and after shots of what this new miracle mascara does. i can't see if she is wearing extra long and curly eyelashes.
surely there must be some regulation about thema ctually showing the property does as it claims.

it just really bugs me.

There was a case in the news a while ago where one company got told off and/or fined for doing that.

IIRC Penelope Cruz was the model but I might be wrong

I saw an ad for one yesterday, and it had 'Extensions were used' in quite small text at the end of the ad

Have you noticed in the hairdye ads now there is a little disclaimer with the words 'model wearing natural hair extensions'.

Are you really surprised? Advertising is about selling an image, not a reality. No mascara can give you foot long eyelashes
