Impartial question…

but who is taking all these intimate photos of Harry and Meghan?

The ones of them kissing in the kitchen, etc.

is this what couples do…I don’t think DH and I have taken a photo together since our wedding 4 years ago 😂

I thought the same. In one of the early episodes M is in her apartment texting Harry. Who tf videos themselves texting their boyfriend. Hmm.

She's an actress and probably hugely narcissistic in her private life. She probably films herself, takes hundreds of selfies everyday, and journals her thoughts when she's not navel gazing...

Wasn't she an influencer or something at one time?

I've read articles on Louise Thompson, who is an influencer on instagram, who takes pictures of herself crying (the last thing I'd want to do) and even filmed herself having a panic attack and put it on social media and in the papers (I'm not kidding).

That level of self-obsession and the need to share with strangers just seems attention seeking and not something I'd understand.

It must all be so staged though…you don’t have a tripod set up taking constant photos in case you get a good one…same with the ones of them in the play cottage thing, etc.

Theyre never photos of each other they’ve taken ie Harry taken one of Meghan, etc. but always the two of them in the frame.

There’s a whole slice of the population that lives by “pics or it didn’t happen”. As in, it’s not real/it didn’t happen if others haven’t seen it. It’s a philosophical question on some level, I suppose.

AnaBannanna · 21/12/2022 23:11

I think some of their photos were staged. Much like some of the footage on the documentary. I don't believe for one second Beyoncé happens to send a text right at that very moment. But I do know people who document every aspect of their life like this. Usually they're the ones who post 400 picture to Facebook every holiday they go on. Or constant instagram stories. Or wannabe influencers. And these are people in their 30's, like me. It stems from being the generation of 14-20 year olds who had MySpace and the very first Facebook accounts, the new thing on the net, everyone was posting stuff all the time. Some people didn't grow out of that.

i read before that it’s not a growth thing but a mental thing….you have to seek approval from everyone else. Like the people at work that boast about how good their weekend was are often the people who had the least fun.

Maybe to do with insecurity 🤷🏻‍♀️

The Royal Family as an institution is toxic as fuck and is clearly not a healthy environment for people to grow up in.

Well Harry is the only one who has opted out, the rest seem pretty content with their lot.

And this is the problem with them, they constantly need validation and approval and when they don’t get it or anyone criticises them they immediately go into victim mode, they are so incredibly thin skinned, it must be an exhausting way to live your life.
