To think the Daily Mail is probably starting to alienate its own audience now

I don't read it, but going from the headlines. For instance, I think that there are very many people in the country who support the ambulance workers and nurses, most people in fact. The DM seems so hellbent on its hate agenda that I feel like now they are going beyond what even the majority of readers would think?

If I could give you a prize for revising opinion I would 😀

Usually people dig in on mn, good show

superplumb · 21/12/2022 12:04

No sadly not. The only people who read it are the bellends who agree with them and there are many of them

My ds is in journalism. He was offered an interview at the DM but wouldn’t go as he disliked the paper.

He did say however, that the Mail has some good journalism and often runs stories that others won’t touch. He said in terms of investigative journalism it was good.

He wouldn’t work there though.

Yes, I'm ex NHS and still in touch with many of my old friends and colleagues.

A large percentage of them don't agree with the strikes and, realistically, don't think pay rises are what's needed anyway.

They want to see reform of the NHS to provide better working conditions and less money wasted on woke nonsense.

My Dil works in the NHS as does my dnephew.

Them and their colleagues passionately support the strikes and are big fans of ‘wokeism’

As am l.

Your post sounds like something out of the 1960’s

That’s very insightful, thank you.

The newspaper that supported Hitler ? The only way they could alienate their core audience is to suggest a pay increase for the nurses paid for by rich corrupt ex pat tax exiles.

Moonmelodies · 21/12/2022 13:57

The newspaper that hunted down and named Stephen Lawrence's killers?

Gymrabbit · 21/12/2022 15:39

ArseInTheCoOpWindow

so you are all big fans of spending loads of money on diversity managers rather than on actual medical staff and on telling raped women that they can’t have been raped because no men were on the ward (because the rapist identified as a woman)

How lovely for all of you.

Unfortunately the Daily Fail is dead against the average worker sticking up for them selfs and will put out extreme negative headlines about unions and untrue facts about people's jobs and what they do and how much they earn to try and turn people on each tother

jtaeapa · 21/12/2022 16:06

I don't think so. It's so easy for them to monitor sales of the actual paper and clicks on the internet - if they were declining, they'd change their tune.
