3 young kids and broken 3 foot bones after a fall

So quick back story, slipped and fell yesterday. Had x ray today which shows 3 broken bones, have been told can take 4-6 weeks to heal. Hospital have given me a moon boot to wear... Can anyone tell me if heals in less time. My home is currently a tip, kids are 2, 5 and 7 and struggling to get them to sleep
DH gone to work on nightshift... My question any way to heal my broken bones faster even if private physio sessions....

This seems like a bad dream but then again I've never posted to mumsnet in a dream....

I have now thank you though my foot does ache more than it used to when the weather is bad. It’s hard to believe it’s almost 2 years ago it happened and all I did was slip down 3 stairs but landed awkwardly at the bottom.

I hope you’re comfortable for Christmas and have lots of help - let others do the running around

My DH helping alot but he ll be working night shifts and sleeping from Sat to Tues so will be on my own.. Will have to keep topped up on painkillers. Feel bad as won't be able to take kids anywhere either...

Going for Christmas Dinner at mil on Sat so at least have nothing to do for that x
