AIBU to not wait any longer

Background

•NC as outing

• I suffer from pcos

• I have 3 children
• I have had 4 mcs prior to DC
• DH and I had unprotected sex once several months ago
• I haven't had a period in almost 3 months • my cycles are usually irregular but circa 32-40 days when they have a degree of 'stability'
• I have had 4 negative pregnancy tests
• I am overweight
• I recently attended Dr because of unexplained regular diarrhea

Essentially 3 months no period but now top section of my tummy looks pregnant. Even my husband has commented that it looks and feels (it's hard to touch not soft like a "belly")

I have been exercising and losing weight during this time.

I have put my additional tiredness due to fitting exercise in to a busy ft working, 3 kids and exercise schedule, however i am 'looking' more pregnant as the upper section of my tummy is hard and distended. It is exactly similar to my pp.

Aibu to contact doctor when pregnancy tests are negative??

DH swings between thinking it's a pregnancy and then something more sinister. I am inclined to think my pcos is causing it and to wait a little longer. What's the thoughts?

Just go to the doctor.

Go to the doctor.

DramaAlpaca · 16/12/2022 00:52

You need to get yourself checked out, OP. In your shoes, I would.

Thanks, will phone today and make an appointment. I just didn't want to be overreacting and being unreasonable by making an appointment too soon.

I've been hoping my period would come and I find it's just been bloating. Will get checked out 👍🏻

Bloating, top section of tummy hard, fatigue - go to the doctor. You need to get blood tests and probably a pelvic and abdominal ultrasound.

@DrowninginDreams Go to gp and hoping for you it’s nothing. If you are doing lots of ab exercises and not careful about techniques it can start to develop the upper abdomen at a much higher rate than the lower - just a thought. Xx

Not been doing many ab exercises, just spinning and exercises from my physio as I have diastasis recti following pregnancies @Bobbins36

@DrowninginDreams ok, best get it checked out sooner rather than later and hopefully put your mind at rest xx
