Have you ordered anything online lately? A few years I ordered something glass and had a terrible rash after unpacking it, allergic reaction to the packaging.

I've had this, where I cam e up in an itchy rash. I was fine before lunch, got back to my desk and started to itch like crazy across my lower back. Doctor prescribed antihistimines. It lasted a few days in total; the next day I woke up OK, put bra on and came up in itchy rash only where the bra was. Never had a problem with my washing detergent before. I just kept taking the antihistimines until the symptoms cleared.

I asked a doctor friend about it and she said that sometimes you can develop allergies to products that you have used safely for years, that it can happen when you have a viral infection, and that it is usually temporary. It does seem like this could be the answer in my case. You said your children had had scarlet fever/infections, it might be that you are fighting off a bug yourself and this is a side effect of that?

Fingers crossed it doesn't get any more serious and isn't a permanent thing for you

@Novemberhater

EKH is in dire straits
I am ashamed this is what we have for the local people here in an emergency
Soul destroying for all involved

I totally agree if only K&C was still a fully functioning ED, that would have taken off a lot of pressure from Ashford and Margate. I need surgery and was told yesterday that there's no possibility of getting it in maybe years. EKHT is back to Covid mode with nurses being redeployed to emergency care, so most surgeries cancelled.
