AIBU to give 4 month old dgs calpol? If he was mine I would have given already, babysitting for the night, can't get in touch with his mum or dad (both gone on Christmas work do) he's clearly in pain and gnawing away at his fists.

He's asleep for now but I can't see him going down for long so WIBU to give him calpol?

I wouldn't because his parents might have given it to him already so there's a risk of an overdose.
Unless you've been looking after the baby for 5+ hours? Then you know he hasn't had a dose since then.

Pretty crazy parents are uncontactable Shock I'm quite chilled and can leave my 5 months old with a nanny allll day but my phone is always on me and fully charged.

I know he definitely hasn't had any at all today and I've had him since early afternoon. I think they are both out of signal range they do usually both answer straight away, just typically tonight when it's important I can't get through 🤦🏼‍♀️

Presuming he's been with you for at least 4 hours (which I'm assuming given the time, he has) then I would.

Thanks for reassuring me, he's still asleep at the moment so I'll see how he goes, he's the least fussiest baby ever and is usually a fantastic sleeper but he's suffering with his gums.

He's been with me since early afternoon so no chance of double dosing him.

He is under your care so I’d have no problem giving it.
