Rules on christmas gift

It's a christmas gift for my 6yo girl I've ordered and it's not arrived yet. A kids kindle in a pink case with a princess carrier bag, so very obviously not belonging to anyone else. But there are a few reasons why I dont want it to be "hers", but something that only she uses. As in I want control over it and I dont want her to think its like her other toys.
When she goes to her dads I don't want her to be able to do whatever she wants with it/take it anywhere incase something happens to it or it gets ruined completely. I don't know how to explain that to her though, even to myself.

I don't know why but I get the feeling I might be out of order with this strange rule?

Could you hold that gift back until the end and include a letter from Santa, say it’s santas tablet and he’s letting her use it, but the rules are x

I’d not give it as a gift to her, or keep the Princess case. I’d do it as a plain case and a gift to the family so she is allowed to borrow it/use it with permission but it’s not hers by default

You need to start your own thread. This thread is about the OP’s iPad not a buggy

This seems the most practical
