Solo travel

Not so much an aibu as I'm not, but was wondering if anyone had any ideas/advice about a holiday for me.
Just me, a week in March, I want heat. Preferably 25 degrees in the day.
I don't want to go to Egypt as did that last year.
Is Greece/Turkey etc warm at that time of year? Are they safe for solo female travellers? Has anyone ever gone with an organised group (I'm not single, not interested in that kind of holiday 🤣) but would be nice to meet others doing similar.
I'm 43 and quite adventurous. Not afraid of physical stuff. I'm pretty happy on my own and have travelled for short trips alone before but this will be my first big holiday on my own.
Budget is flexible, not loaded but can spend a bit on flights if destination is cheap once there.
Considering Thailand but just a week does not seem enough.

I've heard good things about Malta which would fit your wish list.

Have a google of intrepid holidays. They are great and if you don't fancy a tour you could see their itinerary's .

I did my last solo trip to Thailand and Singapore for two weeks. Really enjoyed it and booked onto a dive boat for 5 days in the middle so I knew I would have social contact if I didn't meet people.

I think you will struggle to get heat at 25 degrees in Europe in March

Yes I think getting 25 degrees is going to be unlikely actually 😂 those intrepid holidays look great!! Also looking at Malta, I'd love to go there

March won't give you those temps anywhere in Europe. And in most of Greece resorts will be pretty much closed down and flights limited. I don't think you'll even get consistent weather in Tunisia or Morocco.

We had a great winter break in Gambia. I know it's got an iffy reputation for hustling and sex tourism but we found really friendly people and lots of wild life etc to see. Hotels were cheap and cheerful but clean. I suspect a solo female traveller might find it a bit much

Thailand would deffo be my recommendation. It's my favourite place to visit. March is peak season still so not sure how prices vary. There's a huge range of budgets though. We just came back from an eight night trip and didn't find it too tiring although we had great flights with Qatar.

Enjoy.

I came here to say Malta as well - or Gozo, which is next to it. Both beautiful
